Wednesday 26.6.13

The slope was alive with visitors today as at least 30 people came along to see the Large Blue and the Orchids.

There were many sightings on the Eastern Glade which seemed to be the best spot for them today, but I think there were only about 3 or 4 different Large Blues actually flying.

Other than Large Blues there were plenty of Meadow Browns, Speckled Woods and Small Heaths. The Orchids are still looking good, there are now 5 Wasp Orchids that have been spotted in the meadow along with many Pyramidal Orchids and a Bee Orchid.
